Body Sculpting with truSculpt 3D

This is a game changing new technology which uses radio waves to melt fat and tighten skin in a unique way. Competitive devices either don’t work as well to heat the tissues, or use cold to freeze the fat. The cold freeze technology does work to  reduce fat but doesn’t tighten the skin and can result in scalloping of the fat and nerve damage.

It has been discovered that if the fat layer is heated enough (45 degrees Celsius), some of the fat cells will undergo dissolution and be permanently removed. In addition, heating the overlying skin will cause it to tighten.

Why consider truSculpt 3D for body sculpting?

This second process in particular is very exciting, as it has not previously been possible to significantly tighten the skin without burning it or cutting it out using invasive surgery. It is possible to remove fat using freezing also, but this doesn’t tighten the skin. truSculpt 3D will do both.

truSculpt 3D treatments are pain free- in fact, patients say the procedure feels like a hot stone massage.  Right after the treatment, your body will start to break down and flush out the fat cells that have been treated, which begins the reduction in the treated area’s circumference.  Every body is different, but most people see noticeable results in 6-8 weeks after being treated. On average, 20-30% of fat reduction can be achieved with a single treatment, with no downtime.

How are truSculpt 3D treatments performed?

We have more extensive experience with this technology than any other clinic in Canada. The latest version, truSculpt iD, will achieve improvements in as little as 15 minutes of treatment time.
